Autonomy within guidelines
BRANDING / LITERATURE
Posted: 1 January 2010
The Development Planning Unit (DPU), which is part of the UCL (University College London), is an international centre specialising in academic teaching, practical training, research and consultancy in the field of urban and regional development, planning, and management. It is concerned with promoting sustainable forms of development, the understanding of rapid urbanisation and encouraging innovation in the policy, planning and management responses to the economic, social and environmental development of cities and regions, especially in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

To enable a degree of autonomy within the newly implemented UCL branding, WPB developed a global icon that represents the scope and cross-over of disciplines within ghte DPU and implemented across a plethora of literature.
